Nestlé Purina Goodwill Grants
Nestlé Purina partnered with Washington State University to install a state of the art diet kitchen, which provided a significant upgrade to the hospital’s facilities. The diet kitchen allows students, residents and faculty easy access to therapeutic diets for hospitalized animals. The Nestle Purina Nutrition Center also provides easy web-based access to detailed diet information, which includes links to other universities with nutrition services. We are hopeful this will help clinicians and students choose the best nutrition for each individual patient. Washington State currently does not have a board certified nutritionist. It is our hope that this Center will help bridge that gap.
This shows our continued commitment to Washington State University, which also includes continued support of the Pet Loss Support Hotline, the Communications Training Program, and Nestle Purina Transitions Ceremony for the 3rd year students. Go Cougs!
